MOB RULES To Enter Studio In May
December 30, 2007German metallers MOB RULES have issued the following update:
"The year 2007 comes to an end in giant strides and MOB RULES looks back at successful and extremely eventful 12 months. The Northern German band roamed Scandinavia and has jumped an exultant gig at the Bay Area Rock festival in San Francisco in spring for the first time, finally convincing its many American fans!
"Besides numerous headliner shows, MOB RULES played at the Magic Circle Festival in Bad Arolsen in summer 2007, which was organized by MANOWAR. At this festival two tracks were recorded live: 'Unholy War' and 'Ashes To Ashes'. The two clips are available on Mob Rules MySpace page as of now [and can both be viewed below].
"The six musicians have been back to the band room again since November writing songs for the upcoming album. Almost half of the material has already been finished; the current work concentrates on three to four songs at the same time. Fans can look forward to a smashing album documenting the band’s jump ahead. As of May, MOB RULES gets back to the studio again. The album with no title yet will be released in late summer, after that the band heads for a brand new tour."
MOB RULES' latest album, "Ethnolution A.D.", was released in Europe in October 2006. Produced once again by Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, SPOCK'S BEARD, OASIS),"Ethnolution A.D." marks the recording debut with the group of guitarist Sven Lüdke (ex-MURDER ONE) and bassist Markus Brinkmann.
